Turtle Squares

Ingredients

    Crust:

    5 lb (full box) Krusteaz Professional® Devil’s Food Cake Mix 732-0240

    16 oz (2 cups) butter, softened

    16 oz (2 cups) instant oats

    8 oz (4) eggs

    Topping:

    48 oz (4 cups) caramel topping

    24 oz (4 cups) chocolate chips

Method

    1. For crust, place Krusteaz Professional Devil’s Food Cake Mix, butter, oats and eggs in mixer bowl.

    2. Using a paddle, mix on low speed 1 minute or until crumbly. Reserve 4 cups oat mixture. Press remaining oat mixture into prepared full sheet pan.

    3. For convection oven, bake at 300°F 5-10 minutes; for standard oven, bake at 350°F 8-10 minutes.

    Remove from oven and while warm, layer on topping ingredients.

    4. For topping, evenly spread caramel topping over cake. Sprinkle with chocolate chips and reserved oat mixture. Return to oven.

    5. For convection oven, bake at 300°15-20 minutes; for standard oven, bake at 350°F 15-20 minutes. Cool completely before cutting.
