Georgia Peach Cornbread Cake

Ingredients

    2 1/2 lb (full box) Krusteaz Professional® Homestyle Cornbread Mix

    18 fl oz (2 1/4 cups) water

    20 oz (4 1/2 cups) peaches in syrup, strained

    8 oz cream cheese, cut into small pieces

Method

    1. Place water and Krusteaz Professional Homestyle Cornbread Mix in mixer bowl
    2. Using a paddle, mix on low speed 15 seconds. Scrape bowl.
    3. Continue to mix on low speed 15 seconds. Scale half of batter into prepared 24 x 16 x 2-in pan.
    4. Spoon peaches over batter. Scatter cream cheese over peaches. Carefully spread remaining batter over cream cheese.
    5. For convection oven, bake at 350°F 25-30 minutes; for standard oven, 400°F 30-35 minutes.
