Funnel Cake Burger

Ingredients

    1 1/4 lb (4 1/4 cups) Krusteaz Professional® Funnel Cake Mix 742-0425

    14 fl oz (1 3/4 cups) water

    8, 4 oz burger patties

    8 leaves green lettuce

    8 slices tomatoes

    8 slices red onion

    8 slices cheddar cheese

 

Yield

8 burgers

Method

    1. Blend mix and water together using a wire whisk until well-blended.

    2. Pour 1/4 cup of batter into 350°-375°F oil in full circle. Fill the circle with batter in a desired pattern.

    3. Fry for 30 seconds then turn over. Fry additional 30 seconds, or until golden brown.

    4. Remove from fryer and drain off excess oil.

    5. Assemble burgers with funnel cake “buns”.
