5 lb (full box) Krusteaz Professional® Tempura Batter Mix 733-0140
10 lb dill pickle spears
1/4 cup dry dill
6 1/4 lb (3 quarts + 1/2 cup) ice cold water
1. Pre-heat oil to 360-375ºF. Place ice cold water in bowl and add Krusteaz Professional Tempura Batter Mix. Using a wire whisk, mix until batter is smooth. Do not overmix.
2. Sprinkle dill over batter and blend.
3. Dip pickle spears in prepared batter and drain 5 seconds.
4. Fry until golden brown. Serve immediately.
