Sweet Cream Red Velvet Pancakes

Makes 110-115, 4-inch pancakes

Ingredients

Pancakes
  • 5 lb. Krusteaz Professional Sweet Cream Pancake Mix 731-0144
  • 1 cup cocoa
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup red food coloring
  • 80 oz cool water-1 or 2 oz more water may be necessary if batter is too thick

Method

  1. Blend all dry ingredients together.
  2. Add dry ingredients to measured water and whisk until well-blended.
  3. Pour batter onto greased, preheated 365-375°F griddle.
  4. Cook pancakes 1 1/4-1 1/2 minutes per side. Turn only once.
