Harvest Oat Bars

Makes 96, 2-inch bars

Ingredients

  • 12 fl oz (1 1/2 cups) water
  • 5 lb (full box) Krusteaz Professional® Oat Bran Muffin Mix 734-0250
  • 18 oz (4 1/2 cups) chopped almonds
  • 16 oz (2 cups) butter, softened
  • 16 oz (1 1/2 cups) maple or pancake syrup
  • 12 oz (4 cups) uncooked rolled oats
  • 7 oz (1 cup) packed brown sugar

Method

  1. Place water, Krusteaz Professional Oat Bran Mufffin Mix and remaining ingredients in mixer bowl.
  2. Using a paddle, mix on low speed 1 minute. Scrape bowl.
  3. Continue to mix on low speed 1 minute. Press dough into prepared full sheet pan.
  4. For convection oven, bake at 300°F 20-25 minutes; for standard oven, bake at 350°F 25-30 minutes.
