Cheese and Bacon Biscuits

Makes 8 dozen, 2-inch biscuits


  • 5 lb (full box) Krusteaz Professional® Buttermilk Biscuit Mix 734-0320
  • 10 oz (2 1/2 cups) shredded cheddar cheese
  • 5 oz (2/3 cup) bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 30 fl oz (3 3/4 cups) cool water


  1. Place Krusteaz Professional Buttermilk Biscuit Mix and remaining ingredients in mixer bowl.
  2. Using a paddle, mix on low speed 30 seconds. Change to medium speed and mix 30 seconds.
  3. Place dough on floured surface. Roll out and fold in half. Turn 1/4 turn and roll to 1/2-inch thickness.
  4. Cut with 2-inch biscuit cutter.
  5. Place side by side with edges touching on ungreased sheet pans.
  6. For convection oven, bake at 375°F 7-10 minutes; for standard oven, bake at 425°F 10-12 minutes.
