Biscuit Blossoms

Makes 52 Servings


  • 5 lb (full box) Krusteaz Professional® Buttermilk Biscuit Mix 734-0320
  • 36 fl oz (4 1/2 cups) cool water
  • 24 oz (2 1/3 cups) raspberry preserves


  1. Place water and Krusteaz Professional Buttermilk Biscuit Mix in mixer bowl.
  2. Using a paddle, mix on low speed 30 seconds. Change to medium speed and mix 30 seconds.
  3. Place dough on floured surface. Roll out and fold in half. Turn 1/4 turn and roll to 1/2-inch thickness.
  4. Cut with 2-inch biscuit cutter.
  5. Flour hands and split each biscuit into 2 even rounds.
  6. Using 4 rounds per muffin cup, place each round along the sides and bottom of prepared muffin cups, overlapping slightly, to form petals. Press dough edges firmly to seal.
  7. Place 2 tsp preserves in center of each cup.
  8. For convection oven, bake at 375°F 10-12 minutes; for standard oven, bake at 425°F 14-16 minutes. Serve warm. Garnish with additional preserves, if desired.
