Banana Nilla Wafer Sweet Cream Cake

Makes 1, half sheet cake


  • 66 oz (1 full pouch) Krusteaz Professional® Ready to Bake Sweet Cream Vanilla Cake & Muffin Batter #732-0625
  • ½ tsp Banana Flavor
  • 33 oz Nilla Wafers
  • 6+ Yellow Bananas (not too ripe)


  1. Remove 1 pouch Krusteaz Professional Ready to Bake Sweet Cream Vanilla Cake & Muffin batter from refrigerator. No slacking required.
  2. Prepare 16x12x1-inch half-sheet pan by lightly greasing. If using a pan extender (recommended), lightly grease the sides of the pan extender.
  3. Cut open one end of the pouch and squeeze all the batter into a bowl. Add the banana flavor to the batter. Mix until combined.
  4. Place one layer of Nilla Wafers on bottom of pan.
  5. Distribute ½ of the cake batter on top of the Nilla Wafers. Spread evenly.
  6. Slice the bananas across (coins) and place them on top of the batter until batter is covered with a single layer of bananas.
  7. Place the other half of the batter on top of the bananas and spread evenly.
  8. Place remaining banana coins on top of the batter.
  9. Coarsely crumble enough Nilla Wafers to cover the bananas and cake.
  10. For convection oven, bake at 300°F at low fan speed for 45-60 minutes, turning pan halfway through bake time. Allow cake to cool completely before cutting or removing from pan.
