Apricot Walnut Bars
Makes 96 servings
Ingredients
- 5 lb (full box) Krusteaz Professional® All Purpose Muffin Mix 734-0120
- 16 oz (2 cups) butter, softened
- 14 oz (2 cups) packed brown sugar
- 8 oz (4) eggs
- 24 oz (4 cups) chopped, dried apricots
- 13 1/2 oz (3 cups) coarsely chopped walnuts
Method
- Place Krusteaz Professional All Purpose Muffin Mix, butter, sugar and eggs in mixer bowl.
- Using a paddle, mix on low speed 1 minute. Scrape bowl and paddle.
- Add remaining ingredients and mix on low speed 1 minute or until dough forms around paddle.
- Press dough into prepared full sheet pan.
- For convection oven, bake at 300°F 20-25 minutes; for standard oven, bake at 350°F 25-30 minutes. Cool completely. Drizzle with glaze, if desired.
