1 HEAT oven to 325F. Lightly grease 8x8-inch pan. 2 STIR together water, oil, egg and brownie mix until blended. SPOON batter into pan and spread evenly. 3 BAKE 48-52 minutes.* Cool completely in pan before cutting. Store in a tightly covered container. Do not eat raw batter. *DO NOT OVER-BAKE. Freshly baked brownies appear under-baked but cool to doneness. For glass pan, add 5 minutes to bake time. High Altitude (over 5,000 feet): Prepare as directed, adding 1/3 cup cornstarch.

Frosted Espresso Brownie Bites Heat oven to 325F. Line mini muffin pan(s) with paper baking cups. For Brownies: Prepare brownie batter as directed above, adding 2 tsp instant espresso powder. Spoon batter into muffin cups, filling 1/2 full. Bake 16-18 minutes. Cool thoroughly before frosting. For Frosting: Using an electric mixer on medium speed, mix 1 cup (2 sticks) softened butter, 2 tsp vanilla and 4 Tbsp Irish cream liqueur until smooth. Add 3 cups powdered sugar, one cup at a time, mixing after each addition. Continue mixing until light and fluffy. Add 1 Tbsp milk, if needed for desired consistency. Spread frosting over cooled brownies. Makes 42 brownie bites.

This mix should perform for its intended use for 12 months in cool dry storage. Hot, humid storage may reduce shelf life. Each shipment will be properly controlled and handled to prevent adulteration as defined in the Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act (section 402).
