Layered Mocha Squares

Ingredients

    Crust:

    3 1/2 lb (12 1/4 cups) Krusteaz Professional® Fudge Brownie Mix 732-0620

    4 fl oz (1/2 cup) hot water

    Filling:

    3 1/2 lb (12 1/4 cups) Krusteaz Professional® Fudge Brownie Mix 732-0620

    12 fl oz (1 1/2 cups) hot coffee

    1/2 oz (2/3 cup) instant coffee granules

    12 oz (2 cups) chocolate chips

Method

    1. For crust, place Krusteaz Professional Fudge Brownie Mix and water in mixer bowl.

    2. Using a paddle, mix on low speed 1 minute or until crumbly.

    3. Press 3/4 of crust mixture into prepared full sheet pan; set aside remaining crust mixture.

    4. For filling, place Krusteaz Professional Fudge Brownie Mix, hot coffee and instant coffee granules in mixer bowl.

    5. Using a paddle, mix on low speed 30 seconds. Scrape bowl. Continue to mix on low speed 30 seconds.

    6. Spread filling over crust. Sprinkle remaining crust mixture and chocolate chips over filling.

    7. For convection oven, bake at 300°F 20-22 minutes; for standard oven, bake at 350°F 20-22 minutes. Cool completely.
