Apple Fritters

Ingredients

    Fritters:

    5 lb (full bag) Krusteaz Professional® Buttermilk Pancake Mix 731-0120

    7 lb (12 cups) diced apple pie filling

    16 fl oz (2 cups) water

    Sugar Topping:

    14 oz (2 cups) sugar

    2 tablespoons cinnamon

Method

    Fritters:

    1. Place Krusteaz Professional Buttermilk Pancake Mix, diced apple pie filling and water in mixer bowl.

    2. Using a paddle, mix on low speed 1 minute. Scrape bowl and paddle. Continue mixing on low speed for an additional 2 minutes.

    3. Using #60 scoop, drop apple fritter batter into hot oil (375°F) and fry 4 minutes or until deep golden brown.

    Sugar Topping:

    4. In small bowl, stir together sugar and cinnamon.

    5. Sprinkle over hot fritters.
